The Parish School

The parish school, St. John’s Anglican Primary School is the only primary school on the Cipero Road between San Fernando and Lengua.  The St. John’s Anglican School is about 100 hundred years old. The original name of the school was St. John’s E.C.I. School –Anglican School for East Indian children. St. John’s Anglican School has produced many prominent citizens including Dr. Ahalia Harbajan and Mr. Louis Jordan.   The present building of St. John’s Anglican School was constructed in the year 1945 with refurbishment in 1987-1988 and every year since. The structure appears sound. However it is in dire need of refurbishment.
