The Sacrament of Confirmation is the rite whereby a baptized person makes the mature commitment to be faithful to Jesus Christ and receive strength by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by the Bishop.
Things to note:
Regular church attendance is necessary.
A baptized person must attain the age of fifteen (15) years to be considered for Confirmation. There is no upper age limit for Confirmation.
The Anglican Diocese of Trinidad and Tobago is in the process of implementing Baptism as the gateway to receive Holy Communion as opposed to Confirmation.
