Baptism Process

Holy Baptism is the sacrament by which God adopts us as his children and makes us members of Christ’s Body, the Church, and inheritors of the kingdom of God.


Things you should know:

  • There isn't an age limit

  • At least ONE parent must be an Anglican.

  • At least TWO God Parents must be an Anglican.

  • There are no specifications as to the number of Godparents.

  • God Parents are required to attend at least one counseling session before the baptism date.

  • Parents should make an effort to attend church regularly prior to and after the baptism.

  • Parents should check with the parish clerk to verify availability of the proposed baptism date.

  • Baptism request forms are also available at the parish office.

Associated Fees:

  • Baptism Reception Certificate - $20

  • God-Parent's Love Offering - $100

  • Parent's Love Offering - $100

Required Documents:

  • Original Birth Certificate of Child

  • Completed Baptism form

General Procedure:

  1. Contact the parish office to verify the proposed date.

  2. Fill out the attached baptism form below or collect one at the parish office.

  3. Submit the completed baptism form along with the Baptism Reception Certificate fee and original birth certificate.

  4. Prior to the baptism date you will be contacted by the parish to organize the date of the counseling session (You will also be briefed on the proceedings that will take place on the day).

  5. Attend baptism service.
